2014

 

Sarah returns to her native Maine to direct a day of workshops for Snow Pond Community Music School in conjunction with her performance on the Jewett Concerts. The Geller-Anderson duo features their newest program, Hungarian Rhapsody.

In response to popular demand from countless standing-room only performances at Bruno Walter Auditorium, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Library, Sarah is nominated for Lincoln Center Local Live.

 

2013

 

In her third appearance at Bruno Walter Auditorium, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, Geller is joined by Latin-Grammy nominated pianist, Allison Franzetti in an all-Latin program, Sonidos y Danzas Luminosos.

Geller-Anderson Duo performs on the Glema Mahr Chamber Music Series in Madisonville, Kentucky to a capacity audience.

 

2012

 

Featuring tango dancers Leonardo and Olga Suarez-Paz, SEGUE debuts Sonidos y Danzas Luminosos at the David Rubenstein Atrium to an electrically-charged, sold-out audience.

Ocean City Pops appoints Sarah as an ambassador to the Orchestra Engagement Lab in its nascent year. She serves as an innovator, along with nine other orchestra representatives from across the U.S., creating bold community-engagement projects to give audiences transformative experiences.

Sarah leads a poetry workshop for families in conjunction with a performance on the Killingsworth Night Out series. She then enriches her evening performance by reading brushstroke poems written by the workshop participants.

 

2011

 

SEGUE returns to another standing-room-only audience at Bruno Walter Auditorium, this time featuring stunning tango dancers, Leonardo and Olga Suarez-Paz, in Piazzolla’s Verano and Gardel’s El día que me quieras, with violinist Sarah E Geller and pianist Kathleen Landis.

Sarah performs inspiring themed programs, Souvenirs
at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and Frei aber einsam ~ Free but lonely on the Saint Andrew’s Music Society’s Music on Madison series in New York City.

Kindred Spirits Arts Programs, Inc. invites SEGUE to present a day of interactive flamenco workshops to over 500 middle and high school students in the Milford, PA area. If the teachers and students were not experimenting on their feet, they were definitely on the edges of their seats from start to finish.

 

2010

 

Known for their dynamic performances for more than a decade, Sarah and pianist Cheryl Tschanz reunite for the Chipola College Artist series in Marianna, Florida performing Souvenirs, their program of sultry yet simple, refined beauty. Together they also present an inspiring “informance” for Chipola College music students.

SEGUE performs Ritmo, Color y Pasión to a sold-out crowd at Evergreen Museum and Library, capturing the true spirit of Evergreen’s historic Baskt Theatre with their electrifying flamenco performance. Also, guest pianist Kathleen Landis joins Sarah in tracing the evolution of the tango through thematic collections.

 

2009

 

Following their scintillating Latin American and flamenco performance for a standing-room only audience on the Donnell@LPA series at Bruno Walter Auditorium, SEGUE is invited for an encore performance on the Classical Candy Series at Pete’s Candy Store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Sarah draws capacity audiences on the Gainesville Pro Musica series in Georgia and The Strad for Lunch series in Manhattan.

Sarah serves as artist-in-residence at Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute (NY). She presents workshops and masterclasses to 800 students and performs a culminating solo recital on the MWPAI Young Artists Series.

 

2008

 

Sarah makes her debut in California on the West Coast Salon Series.

Georgetown University invites Sarah to perform and conduct a masterclass on their Friday Music Series.

The Chappaqua Orchestra and Collegium Westchester join forces to present Strings Across Westchester, featuring Sarah Geller and Bryony Stroud-Watson in the Bach Double Violin Concerto.

 

2007

 

Sarah offers a new series of special interest programs for children ages 3 -18, as well as college students, in conjunction with any performance. Options include interactive, interdisciplinary arts workshops, college masterclasses and Suzuki workshops.

Performing extensively on the East Coast, Sarah appears as recitalist at the Community College of Baltimore County, the Washington D.C. Public Library and on the Bentley College Bowles Performance Series in Massachusetts.

 

2006

 

As soloist, Sarah performs Gershwin selections with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra.

Sarah founds SEGUE, an ensemble committed to innovative programming, featuring various combinations of award-winning artists, musicians and dancers.

SEGUE makes its debut performance on the Heritage Hills Concert Series in Somers, NY.

 

2005

 

Sarah performs recitals on the prestigious An die Musik LIVE! series in Baltimore, Buckingham’s Choice in Frederick, MD and on the Arts Institute of Western Maine series in Nordica Auditorium.

Sarah presents a chamber music concert on both the Ocean City Pops and the Chappaqua Library series.

Sarah’s commitment to teaching leads her to become the Director of the PS 116 School for Strings Outreach Violin and Cello Program in New York City.

 

2004

 

In her native Maine, Sarah is the soloist in the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Maine Chamber Orchestra. She directs a series of children’s concerts and gives two public performances.

Following her inaugural performance on the Donnell Library series, Sarah is awarded an invitation to appear annually on their series.

Artists’ International invites Sarah to perform a solo recital on its Alumni-Winners’ series at New York's Merkin Concert Hall. She gives the world premiere of “Driven,” a work for solo violin and dancer, set to a commissioned composition by Philadelphian composer Jeffery Story.

 

2003

 

Sarah performs a recital on New York City’s Christ and St. Stephen’s series.

Ocean City Pops Orchestra presents Sarah as soloist in Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5.

 

2002

 

Sarah makes her Carnegie Hall solo recital debut as an Artists’ International Special Presentation Winner.

 

2001

 

Sarah wins the “Special Presentation Award” in the Artists’ International Competition.

 

2000

 

By special invitation, Sarah performs at Steinway Hall.

 

1998

 

Sarah receives the Helen Airoff Dowling Award, the highest accolade awarded to one outstanding graduating violinist at the Manhattan School of Music.

 

1995

 

Sarah is invited to perform in a masterclass given by the St. Petersburg Quartet at Musicorda Summer String Festival.

 

1994

 

Sarah performs the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the University of Maine at Farmington Orchestra
.
At age 18 Sarah wins the University of Southern Maine Concerto Competition. She performs the Wieniawski Violin Concerto No. 2 with the University of Southern Maine Chamber Orchestra.

Sarah appears as soloist with the University of Maine at Farmington Orchestra, performing the Wieniawski Violin Concerto No. 2.
